Ski Tours : Off-Piste Routes : Courses

On-piste, off-piste or back country skiing, Les Deux Alpes has something for everybody. Whether you are a beginner, an aspiring instructor or a powder hound looking for the next challenge, you want quality instruction from an enthusiastic  instructor who speaks your language.

As a BASI Level 4 ski instructor I  can teach all levels of skier all over the mountain. BASI 4 is the top British ski instructing qualification and the only one recognised for working independently or off-piste in France. I am based in Les Deux Alpes year round so I am perfectly placed to explore the wonderful Oisans/Ecrins region and all the skiing it has to offer.

On the Posts page you will find write-ups of ski tours and off-piste ski routes I have done in the local region and further afield. If you are interested in doing any of these you can book myself or a colleague to ski most of them with you (with the exception of glacier crossings for which you need a UIAGM mountain guide).

Profiles of local resorts and occasional skiing tips are in the pipeline. Let me know if there is anything else you would like to see.

Ski Schools

Ski School TrainingI have chosen to work with the European Ski and Snowboard School here in Les Deux Alpes. It is a fantastic medium sized ski school with 15 – 20 passionate, talented and highly qualified instructors from the UK and across Europe. Through the school I work with private clients, groups and also with most of the major tour companies bringing guests to the resort. I also work with Tip Top Ski Coaching in summer and autumn, in particular running the Junior Freeride Camp the last week of October.

If you want to ski with me get in touch here or you can book me through the ski school.
